Think of some other thing or activity that has been around for a long time, and write a short advertisement for it, as if it is a new invention. Describe several advantages that this "new invention" has over any other products or activities.

WP Satire and Exaggeration
Author’s of satires often use exaggeration in their work. In order to make something look bad, they make things worse than it actually is. For example, in the short essay titled “Learn With Book,” the author exaggerates the fact that people don’t read enough books. He goes so far as suggesting that people do not know what books are do to the overuse of technology.

Now that we have finished Monte Cristo (other than watching the movie which we will do for the final), it's time to start your outside reading book.
Due Date: December 15 by 2:30 pm. Since this is a long term assignment that you have known about since the first week, I DO NOT HAVE TO ACCEPT LATE WORK. So, I will not. Even if you are sick, get it to me on time or it's a zero.
This is worth 650 points to your grade.

Objective: The students will pass the Monte Cristo Final.
1. If you close read the novel. Put your name on inside of front cover and put on my desk.
2. Turn in completed project and send me links to your playlist.
3. Write your name on the answer sheet. If you don't, I have to look it up and you lose five points.
4. Take the test. You can use hand-written notes, character list and timeline. No study guides or book.
Objective: The students will work on completing the last two things of Monte Cristo.
300 point Monte Cristo Final on Monday. You can use all notes (no study guides).
Make sure to share with me your song list, so that I can listen to the music as I grade your project.
