Turn in Next Year's Registration Day: I hope you didn't forget!

Objective:  The students will read Act II:2 and get a glimpse of Caesar's arrogance.

1.  Get out lit books and folders.  And your Registration Sheet.
2.  Go to Counselor's Office and do what you need to do.  Take your outside book with you and read while you're waiting.
3.  Copy Act II:2 Notes
4.  Read Act II:2

Have a great weekend.  It is perfect weather to cozy up in a blanket, put on some jammies and slippers... And read!  HAAAAAA!

I am so happy to be back! That was a trip from heck!

Objective:  Students will complete any assignment from the last three sub days for full credit.

This is what I was stuck in for two days.

1.  Make up and turn in any work from the last three days for full credit.
2.  Turn in final copy of Research Paper (all parts:  Intro - Works Cited):  Put the name of your "main" editor on the first sheet.  Everyone should have their name on a paper!!
3.  Outside Book.

Last Day to make it perfect!

Objective:  The students will use this last day to present their entire paper to their editor for final peer edit.

1.  Get your entire paper (from Anecdotal intro through Works Cited page out for final edit and 50 points.
2.  Give paper to editor.  Spend all period looking at the following...
  • format.  heading, header, margins, spacing, citations, parenthetical citations and works cited.
  • writing:  grammar, thesis, info (did they prove their thesis?  Is there enough info?  Does each paragraph have a citation?  Are paragraphs began properly?
3.  Your final draft (after editing and revising) is due to me on Thursday of next week.

Part IV: The Conclusion and Works Cited

Objective:  The students will learn how to conclude their research paper and make a works cites page using Easybib.com.

1.  Show me part 3 for 50 points.
2.  Edit Part 3.  Editors:  Make sure that EACH paragraph of information has a citation (either a sentence citation or a parenthetical).
3.  Part IV:  The closing:  It is one paragraph:  Either aplly what you have proven to "the bigger picture" (which is the future, or all people, etc.)
                   The Works Cited page.:  Use Easybib.com.  Watch me for example.

ALL PARTS ARE DUE TOMORROW!!!!  50 points or NADA.

Objective:  The students will peer edit Part II of the research paper.

2.  Get out the Part II Typed section of your paper for 50 points.
3.  Discuss my sample and the notes that I made on it.
4.  Peer Edit:  Make sure there are citations, parenthetical citations, etc.  NOTE:  Wikipedia is NOT A SOURCE!!!  Why did I come in today and see Wikipedia in this computer's history?
5.  Begin work on Part III.  It will be due on Thursday.

Objective:  The students will complete Part II of the Research Paper.

1.  Get sample. Read it while the sub takes roll.
2.  Look over the sample and the notes that I wrote on it.  This is the Bio Section of your paper.
3.  It should be about 1-2 pages of background info.  You must cite your source.

This is DUE TYPED AND PRINTED TOMORROW!!!!  50 points or NO points.
