Today is going to be nice!

Objective:  Students will complete their project.  EDIT!!!!

1.  Work more.

2.  Project due tomorrow at the end of your period.  It ia a newspaper, so it has a deadline... which means nothing goes on it after the end of class.  SO DON'T DOG YOUR GROUP!!!!

NOTE:  Mrs. Birchak's class is turning their papers in today.  They look pretty good.  YOUR'S WILL BE BETTER!!!!!

Caesar Test. 300 points to grade

Objective:  The students will pass the test with a good grade showing that they listened and participated and understood.

1.  Get answer sheet with your name on it.
2.  Get test document

3.  READ DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY!!

4.  Pass the test.
5.  When you are done, scan your own test, and write the grade you got on it.  Then give it and the test document to me.

Objective:  Students will work to complete the newspaper project.

1.  Grades are due tomorrow.  Check Aeries and make sure everything is correct.

2.  Work on project.  The only computers that print are mine.  Use them as you wish.

3.  Test tomorrow.  You can use your notes (Act and presentations).

JC Newspaper Group Project

Objective:  The students will create a newspaper to match the events (and some other things) from the play.

1.  Hand in JC Notes Packet (18 highlights of scenes) and Act V Review.
2.  Discuss Newspaper project.  Look at back board for examples... That students is a...  newspaper.
3.  Get into groups and begin project.  All members must WRITE at least two items on the list.  Must have a byline (which is the name of the person who writes that part).

Problems in the past:  Plagiarism (cut and paste), incorrect info that doesn't correspond to events in the play, SLOP, etc.

1.  Get out your typed sonnet.  Highlight and label your alliteration, assonance and personification.

2.  Turn in sonnet and Act IV Review

4.  Tomorrow we start the Caesar Group Project

How is that outside book coming along?  We start a novel when we get back from break.
