Objective:  The students will read and act out the opening act of Twelve Angry Men.

1. Sit anywhere.

2.  Pick parts after we go over their characteristics.

3.  Read and act awesomely the play.

Day 71

Objective:  The students will continue to work of Outside Reading.  Then take a week off for Thanks and for Rest!  And have fun too!

1.  Today would be a GREAT Day to look at Aeries and see if you have any work missing and turn it in.

2.  Reading Schedule.  You have the week off so everyone (and I mean everyone!!!) should be reading their books, highlighting and annotating and be ready to start writing a great report.

Have a great week off.  Hug your parents/guardians of whoever.

Objective:  The students will complete a WP and then work on outside book requitement.

2.  All of you will work quietly on outside reading or writing your report.

Objective:  The students will read and write about the characters of the drama that they are about to read.

Fifth Period:  If any of you want to donate something for Rikki's Family for Thanksgiving, I am buying a dinner to feed 6, but you could add to it and I will deliver.  Bring by Friday if you are interested.

Objective:  The students will finish vocabulary and go over the requirements of the outside reading written report.

1.  Go over the definitions of the 25 vocab words to read the drama.

2.  Go over the two handouts and the requirements of your outside reading written report that is due December 10 by 3 pm for a total of 650 points (200 for the written part).

3.  Homework is READ, READ, READ!!!

Day 65

Objective:  The students will watch the modern version of The Count of Monte Cristo.

1.  If you want to argue some points out of me for yesterday's test, grab a test and your answer sheet.

2.  Watch the movie.

3.  Discuss the reading of the outside book requirement:  The whole thing is worth 650 points and due on December 10.  There will be NO LATE assignments graded!  No excuses!  You have one month!

Day 64

Objective:  Pass

1.  Get out your notes.

2.  Put your name and period on the scan sheet.

3.  Read the questions carefully.

4.  Scan it when you are done.  Write your honest score on it.  I don't want to look it up!

5.  If you have the book close read, put your name in the book and lay it on my desk by the computer.

Objective:  The students will finish up all things for preparation for Monte Cristo Final and Project.

1.  Today is your last "in class" day to complete anything Monte Cristo related.

Due Monday:  Project for 200 points

Also Monday:  Monte Cristo Final for 300 points.

Objective:  The students will work together to analyze the short story.

1.  WP

2.  Finish reading Lamb to the Slaughter

3.  Complete the Assignment

4.  Finish reading Monte Cristo and complete the soundtrack

Objective:  The students will get a chance to quiz the teacher and get extra credit.

1.  Get out Stump the Teacher so that I can do a quick grade.

2.  Stump the Teacher Quiz to be able to play.

3.  Stump the Teacher... or the essay.

4.  By Friday...  Finish Monte Cristo.  Project due Monday and MC Final Monday.
