Night Chapter 3

Periods 1, 3 and 5

1.  Read Chapter 3 and complete the chapter Haiku

2.  Faction Discussion:  Faction:  A "new" lit term:  Non-fiction novels can't be 100% accurate and true since they are often written years after the events.  So authors have to "add" to their story to fill in the gaps.  Sometimes they add small details to make their piece more interesting and artistic.  Night, before it was picked as a book for Oprah's Book Club, was actually classified as "fiction."  So as you read, try to identify some parts of the book that you could consider "faction."

Periods 2, 4

1.  Chapter 1 Quiz

3.  Read Chapter 3
