Objective:  The students will read Act 1 of Twelve Angry Men

1.  Character Description Close Reading.

2.  Read Act 1:  Extra Credit to those who read parts (5).  Extra Extra if you ACT (10)

Book Report Day!!!

Objective:  Prove you read the book.

1.  Put your report and book on desk.

2.  I will call you up one at a time for your oral question....  Don't be scared.  👿

3.  Complete Twelve Angry Men Vocab.

One more day. Book Report tomorrow. DO NOT TURN IN WED.

Objective:  The students will show that they know and understand Animal Farm.

1.  Put the Animal Farm close reading packet on your desk.  Also turn in the historical connection packet to the basket (you may want to look it over real quick)

2.  Take the Animal Farm Final.  Put your name on the answer sheet.  Put the test number next to it and FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.  Do not write on the test.  If you do, it's 10% off your grade.

3.  Complete Book Report.

It's so satisfying when you finish a book!

Objective:  The students will finish reading Animal Farm and complete the historical connection packet.

1.  Read Chapter 10

2.  Complete Character/Historical Connection Packet

I will not be here tomorrow.  Mr. Le will not be here tomorrow.  You will have an easy review assignment for 100 points.  Be good, complete it quickly, then read your outside book.

Remember.  I will not accept ANY LATE Reports or Close Reading of books.  I know that at least two of you will test this....  You will find out the hard way that I am being truthful.

Objective:  The students will read and discuss Chapter 9 of the book.  It's sad!!

1.  Chapter 7-8 Quiz

2.  Read Chapter 9.  You only have to annotate the sad part.

3.  Discussion.  We need a great discussion (or we can write a short essay).

Outside Book.  You have one week.  I am getting pretty tired of emails from or about kids who have waited until the last minute!!!  You have known about this requirement for 4 months and you are just getting the book??????  NO LATE PAPERS!  NO EXCUSE.
