Wednesday Short Day: I like Wednesdays!

Objective:  The students will complete reading of the first article. 

1.  WP Number 2

2.  Website Quiz and Discussion

3.  Complete Close Reading and discuss what you found to be important.  I have my example to share.

Homework:  Supplies in class by Friday!!!  Folder, dividers, paper. pens, highlighters.

Objective:  The students will close read the first of two articles for their essay.

1.  WP #1
2.  School Handbook Discussion
3.  Class Rules Brief (bathroom, phones, food, cheating)
4.  Close Read article number 1 with a purpose:  Identify the author's argument about the effects of destiny in our lives.

HOMEWORK:  Check out my web page:  warrenmlk.com     look at all of the pages (policies, extra credit, contact me, etc) and read the info.  Tomorrow:  10 point quiz on the webpage information.
