Day 37

Objective:  The students will create a character using all methods of indirect characterization.

Note:  I did not post the chapters you were supposed to read yesterday, so there is no quiz today.  Make sure that you read Chapters 26-27 today.  Office hours is a great time for you to get your reading done!

1.  Finish yesterday's paragraph.  Highlight in the three colors:  Topic Sentence (color 1), Fact and Quote (color 2) and analysis (color 3).

2.  Creative Writing:  Character Sketch:  Direct to Indirect.  Typed.  MLA format. 

3.  Read MC Chapters 26-27 

Day 36

Objective:  The students will write an AP Style great paragraph analyzing a character.

1.  Get yesterday's assignment from folder:  "Two Kinds"

2.  MC 25 Quiz

3.  Discuss and fill in new character and timeline.

4.  AP Style Writing:  Write a paragraph where you analyze one character from "Two Kinds."

5.  Read Chapters 26-27
