Welcome to Summer School

Objective:  The students will work hard, complete all assignments, not get into trouble or miss too much school so that they can pass.

1.  Sit anywhere that YOU WILL NOT GET INTO TROUBLE.

2.  What you need every day in this class.  PEN.  PAPER.  NO PENCIL.  YOU WILL WANT TO KEEP EVERYTHING SO THAT YOU CAN USE ON THE FINALS.

3.  Put phones away.  I will tell you the times that it is allowed out.  If I see one out when it's not supposed to be, you will lose 15 points on your grade and be asked to step outside for an hour.  Which will lose you an hour of attendance.

4.  Begin first activity of the day.  "Into the Wild"

Final Presentation Days

Objective:  The students will show that they have learned something in class this year.

1.  Grades are done.  Look on Aeries and see your grade as it stands.

2.  Presentations.  If you get an A, your grade goes up 3%.  B goes up 1%.  C stays the same.  D down 1%.  F down 3%.

District Final

Objective:  Pass

1.  Get folders.

2.  Take home folders.

3.  Pass the test.

4.  Do project

Book Report Day

Objective:  The students will show the teacher that they have read their ENTIRE outside book.

1.  Put report and book on your desk.

2.  Wait to be called up for oral questions and close reading check.

Objective:  The students will work on projects.
