What a Good Friday!

Objective:  The students will pass the JC Final by showing knowledge of the play and the author.

1.  Get a pencil and your typed poem to turn in.Highlight and label the the three poetic devices.
2.  Take the test.  Follow the directions.
3.  I will scan it as soon as everyone is done so that you can go on break a happy, relaxed person.

When we get back we start Lord of the Flies and then Night.  Think about how you will finish your last pages of reading while also reading those two books in the ten weeks remaining in the school year.

Have a great break.  I will miss you all.  (HAAA)

Extra Credit Review Game

Objective:  The students will complete in teams to see who knows the most about Julius Caesar for tomorrow's test (and for 10 points of EC).

Good Morning!

1.  Get your folders.  (Look to see if it is standing up or lying down.  If it is lying down, you lost 5 points yesterday on some random score in the gradebook).
2.  Quickly pass back all work in folders.  You can use all work, notes, etc. during the game.
3.  Review game.
4.  Study the quotes with a friend.

If I don't see you tomorrow (you know, because it's Good Friday and you're a good Catholic), then have a great break!

Final JC Assignment Day

Objective:  The students will finish the last review for Julius Caesar.

1.  CST #17
2.  Compile Note Packet (18 scenes= 18 easily identified highlighted divisions.  All blanks filled in)
3.  Act V Review (due tomorrow)
4.  Class Review for 300 point final tomorrow.
5.  JC Final on Friday.

Objective:  The students will read the final act, the resolution, of Julius Caesar.

Hand in three assignments.  In this order (I am seeing who can follow simple instructions):  Act IV Review, Story Board and Poetic Device Worksheet (20 points off if in the wrong order).  Proper Heading on the top sheet.  Staple in upper left.

1.  Get folders and lit book.
2.  CST
3.  Notes
4.  Read

Objective:  The students will answer oral questions and show Active Reading of Outside Books.

1.  Get Book and Report ready to turn in.
2.  Oral Questions and AR Check.  (Highlights/Comments, Character Page and End Notes)
3.  Complete any of the 4 assignmentsfrom last week.  All are due tomorrow.

We will finish JC tomorrow.

3.  Get the test booklet and answer sheet.
4.  Do your best.  If there is a question that I have not taught you, write the number on the board and I will look into it.
5.  This test is worth 100 points to your grade.

Bring your outside book to school for the next two weeks.  You are taking a bunch of tests and you will finish early.  Outside book is due on March 22.

3.  Get the Act II Review and complete.  On the side that is about Brutus, I expect a minimum of three solid examples for your justification for the rating.

Homework:  Outside Book in 17 days.
