Twelve Angry Men: The Modern Adaptation

Objective:  The students will compare and contrast the play that we read with he modern adaptation  .

1.  Get a piece of paper:  Set it up with two columns (Hotdog).  Label the left, 1954 Version.  Label the right, Modern Version.

2.  Watch the movie and note the differences that you see in the two versions.  You need 25 to get an A.  You don't have to write complete sentences, but they need to be more than one word to be clear.

3.  Tomorrow I want to see your book:  Page 50 for 50 points. 

Twelve Angry Men Act III

Objective:  The students will complete the reading of the play and complete the character analysis.

1.  Read the end of the play.

2.  Complete Character Chart

3.  Give me your extra credit for all three days.  Up to 30 points.

Twelve Angry Men Act II

Objective:  The students will continue reading the play and analyzing the characters.

1.  Read Act II

2.  Add more to your character sheet.

Outside Reading:  Book in class on Friday up to page 50 for 50 points.

Twelve Angry Men Act I

Objective:  The students will read/act Act I of the play and then analyze the characterization.

1.  Sit in a character seat for extra credit reading/acting.  5 points or 10 points.

Objective:  The students will analyze the character descriptions provided by the author of the play.

MC Book Report Due

Objective:  The students will watch the modern version of their book.

1.  Hand in Monte Cristo Book Report.  You MUST upload it to turnitin.com for me to grasde it.

CD Project Due: How many of you regret not listening to me about NOT WAITING UNTIL THE LAST DAY TO BURN IT!!!

Objective:  The students will complete their Book Report on Monte Cristo.

1.  Turn in CD to the box.

2.  Complete the Book report.  It is due on Monday printed out! 

3.  Movie starts Monday.  Feel free to bring popcorn. :)
