Objective: Students will watch the introduction of Schindler's List.

1. Turn in Themes of Night Handout.

Night Chaper 9 and Themes

Objective: Students will identify the key topics to Night and create theme statements with supportive evidence to review the memoir.

1. Final Night Journal Quick write.

2.  Staple your Night Journal packet and turn it in. Make sure each quick write has a heading.

 Turn in homework from last night at the end of the period.

Objective: Students will work in expert groups to answer focus questions for Chapter 5.

Book Reports Due: You have until 2:45/ Night Chapter 4

Objective:  The students will pass their oral question and turn in completed Close Reading and Written Report.

Objective: Students will review the contents of Chapter 1 in a discussion to prepare for Chapter 2.

1. Turn in Identification Activity Worksheet.

2. Get into groups of 3 to 5 to review the contents of Chapter 1.

Answer the questions on ONE piece of paper. Alternate who writes the answers.

3. Prepare for the Chapter 2 Discussion.
