Sub today... I am getting my knee fixed... hopefully! Be respectful to sub/

Objective:  Students will analyze a famous poem about fate and destiny.

You have one of my favorite ex-student and football player as your sub.  He is awesome, so be good to him!

1.  Get your lit text books from the back.

2.  Discuss Monte Cristo Chapter 13 with the sub.  He will go over all of the important parts with you.

3.  Carefully tear out "Invictus" from your book (pages 21-24).

4.  Complete all Think Questions (p. 23) and all Focus Questions (p. 24)

Homework:  Monte Cristo Chapter 14.  It will be confusing.  Just get through it to get the gist of it.  I will make it all clear tomorrow.

The important part of your paper

Looking at essays today. Make corrections as I point them out.

Objective:  The students will write the third paragraph of their essay.  It is the most important one, so be thorough!

1.  Get your essay pulled up, get your packet out and start working on paragraph 3.

2.  Tomorrow paragraph 1-3 should be complete.

Objective:  The students will write their first two paragraphs of their essay.

1.  Get your graded Close Reading of the Outliers

2.  WP #4

3.  Write your paper:

a)  open a new google doc.  Name it warren 3 (or 4 or 5 or 6) depending on your period
b)  share it with rwarren@rusdlearns.net
c)  Set up the heading and header (I don't think you can do that on your phone, so you will have to do it at home on a computer or tablet)

Insert = Header
Scroll Right and type last name and one space
Insert= Page Number pick the one for upper right number on all pages.

Set up Spacing:  Line spacing= Double

You have your intro done.  Type it.
Work on first body paragraph.  Present the first argument, his support, and how you agree with it but point out the flaws in it.
